Monte is the creative thinker...

and founder of DETRA thus he is the one to be held responsible for numerous things: Project management, timeline, customer service ...and of course memorable and beautiful designs.
He is 41 years of age and started his career just before the beginning of the ‘dark age’, a time when a 'digitalized' world started to fear only one thing: Power failure or Computer bugs. He is a qualified Advertising Technician, a trade that is based on all skills involved in designing and manufacturing advertising products and a trade that still taught 'ancient' skills, like hand drawing fonts or applying leaf gold... The company that trained him kept him employed in the creative department for quite some time but then young Monte decided to go and see the world… Following a year or two of travelling, Monte honed his computer design skills and worked as a freelance logo- and graphic designer and as a sales and marketing man in Germany and Italy before relocating back to the coast.

Karen, who grew up in the ‘digital age’...

and by the age of 22 was literally thinking like a computer: Java, Action Script, Hand coding XHTML and CSS layouts were fast becoming like a second language to her. After graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in the mid 90's Karen gathered an extensive background in tourism and agency work. She can now be called an expert in multimedia integration and rich internet applications and has a great talent taking sophisticated web applications from concept through to completion.

When Karen is not in front of her ‘box’, she can be found out an about enjoying the outdoors or pursuing her interests in photography and extreme sports.
